IMMEDIATE VACANCY FOR POSITION OF VALENCIA COUNTY MANAGER
Valencia County, New Mexico, (situated directly south of Albuquerque on Interstate 25), is currently seeking a County Manager.
The County Manager, serves as Chief Administrative Officer, is the liaison, and makes recommendations to the County Board of Commissioners on all matters relevant to the overall welfare of Valencia County. This position represents the County relative to all local, regional, state and Federal activities of concern to, or having impact on the County. The County Manager is accountable for development and submission of the annual budget, state of affairs presentations to the Commission and the public, program organization and direction, recommendation and evaluation of all policies, procedures, and activities pertinent to financial needs, legal affairs, and the achievement of County goals.

VALENCIA COUNTY LOSS PREVENTION PROGRAM
Responsible for providing management of claims processing, safety and loss initiatives. Valencia County has a Loss Prevention Committee, which is comprised of an employee from each department. The committee reviews accidents and makes recommendations to supervisors and staff for a safe and healthy working environment
