Mission Statement

The mission of the Public Works Department is to provide outstanding public services for the citizens of Valencia County, our visitors and our neighboring towns and villages while maintaining a superior infrastructure, guaranteeing a clean and safe environment as well as sustaining a high quality of life.

Overview

The Valencia County Public Works Department is responsible for Tierra Bonita, Road Maintenance, Fleet Maintenance, Solid Waste, Planning, Zoning, Building and Parks. This pivotal department works hand-in-hand with the Code Enforcement Division and GIS.
