Mission Statement
The
Valencia County Fiscal Office is responsible for providing government
officials and the public with the financial information required to access the
current and future financial position of the county.

Overview of Valencia County Fiscal Office
The
accounts payable office processes checks to county vendors (semi-monthly),
reconciles invoices to purchase orders and maintains files on county payments The
payroll office functions include processing payroll for county personnel and
preparation of various payroll reports. The
purchasing office has the responsibility and authority to ensure that all
provisions of the procurement code policies are followed. The
general ledger functions include oversight of all financial procedures for the
county.
The
budget area is responsible for preparing the county’s annual budget and
authorizing purchases based on the availability of funds. |
