Tax Payments

Payment Options

Taxes can be paid in person only at the Valencia County Treasurer’s Office located across the street from the Valencia County Courthouse. Payment can be made by cash, check, cashier’s check, money order, or credit card.

You can also mail your payment in the remittance envelope included with your bill. Your envelope must be postmarked on or before the due date to avoid interest and penalty charges.  Please do not send cash in the mail. Make your check payable to Valencia County Treasurer, write your account number on your method of payment, and be sure to sign your check. Your cleared check is your receipt. A service fee will be charged for any return checks.

VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit cards are accepted in person, on the phone, and online. A convenience fee of 2.5%, or $1 for anything under $40, is charged by a third party when processing your payment with a credit card, and $1.50 flat rate for E-Check.

Online Tax Payments

The payment processing center we use is PayGov. This option is not a search engine to look-up taxes. Enter your complete Alpha/Numeric Account number(s) (ex R012345; make sure it’s a capital R) and click search. Your tax amount(s) will calculate along with the service fee. If you wish to continue, click make payment. All fields will then need to be filled in.

You can pay by either credit card or E-Check. PayGov defaults to a credit card to use the E-check option click on the pull down menu and select check on the Payment type.

A convenience fee is charged by a third party.
