The Office of Emergency Management seeks to promote a safer, less vulnerable community with the capacity to cope with all hazards and disasters despite their size and/or complexity.

The Valencia County Office of Emergency Management strives to create a secure and resilient county with the capabilities required across the whole community to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to, and recover from the threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk.

AlertSense is a FREE emergency notification service that is provided to all residents within Valencia County. This system will notify you of emergency information through phone calls, text messaging, emails, and social media. It will also keep you informed of local events that may immediately impact your safety. 

This notification system is owned and maintained by the Valencia Regional Emergency Communications Center, but is shared with VCOEM to keep citizens informed.
