    Code Enforcement is responsible for the functions of the Animal Control Division and Building Permits and Inspections.

    The mission of Valencia County Attorney’s Office is to provide sound legal direction, advice, and services to Valencia County government, in support of the policy objectives of the County’s elected officials and staff.

    The County Manager is appointed by the County Commission to carry out policies and serves as the chief administrative officer of county government.

    The Valencia County Office of Emergency Management strives to create a secure and resilient county with the capabilities required across the whole community to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to, and recover from the threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk.

  9. Fire Administration Office

    The duties and responsibilities of the Fire Administration Office are to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Career Firefighter/EMTs and oversees the counties Volunteer Fire Departments.

    Geographic Information Systems (GIS) use the latest satellite and computer technology to map out every street and address of county residents.

  11. Human Resources

    Human Resources is responsible for providing management of claims processing, safety and loss initiatives.

  12. Indigent & Loss Control

    The Valencia County Indigent Fund provides financial assistance to indigent Valencia County residents for their health care services.

  14. Juvenile Justice

    The Board’s mission is to serve the youth and families in Valencia County by providing comprehensive services for the purpose of empowering families to be successful, productive citizens.

    The duties of Planning and Zoning is to develop and update the Comprehensive Plan and assist the Planning and Zoning Commission with issues related to land use planning.

    The goal of the Road Department is to provide a safe and efficient transportation environment for vehicular and pedestrian through the installation, maintenance and operation of the Road Department.

    The Rural Addressing Office is responsible for assigning E-911 physical addresses to every residential and commercial structure in the unincorporated areas of Valencia County.
